Lizzie's Photo Shoot in St. Augustine

Hello Everybody!  I went to St. Augustine with my Team.  We had a couple of really cool investigations there.  You should check it out on the S.P.I.R.I.T. Facebook page or Instagram.  (Whatever that is!  I was told I have to put that in there when I write to you all.)

My Team told me they were taking me on a photo shoot in St. Augustine.  I was so excited about going somewhere new.  But still was a little worried they were going to ask me to shoot a gun?  Couldn't be too bad though right?  We would be shooting at photos.

Well turns out that photo shoot is when someone takes pictures of you.  Did you know that?  We went soo many places.  We went to an archaeological park.  I guess that was ok, but just a lot of old things.  They told me to drink from this fountain and it would make me young again.  Not sure I want to be any younger...I don't like diapers.

Then we went to a FORT!!  Can you believe it?  They had people there dressed in their uniforms and they took a picture with me.  You can see it on my Facebook Page.  Lizzie's Spirit.  That's Me, Lizzie and Spirit because that is my Teams name.  Cute right?  I came up with that.  But any ways..

There is pictures on my page with these people I didn't know.  But that is what you do I'm told on a photo shoot.  We went to Mr Ripley's house.  But I felt sort of weird there.  Some of those things (most of them really) I had never seen before.  Not sure I want to either.  However, there is one place where you try to curl your tougne while looking in a mirror.  Funny thing is on the other side it's people watching you.  My mom said I should have seen people's reactions when I stuck out my tougne!  I must have done it right?

We then went to an Antique store.  That is where there is more old things.  But I saw some friends there.  It was sooo cute, their mothers called them "doll" too.  I love that!!!

We went to a cemetery, and old school house and the city gates.  What I don't understand is there was no gate?  Why is it called that?  This whole town was full of OLD THINGS.  It was sure neat to see how they used to do things...but I will take my Iphone any day!

The one place I really thought was weird though is the Old Jail.  Why would you take a kid to an old jail?  And I saw a LOT of kids there!  Maybe to scare them straight?  LOL  I heard that somewhere and thought I would use it.  I guess the thought of being in jail makes you stand straight?

Anyways, they had someone  hold me for the picture.  What happened to kids shouldn't talk to strangers?  My family just gave me to him!  And then they put me in a cage.  Is that what all mothers do?  I don't think I like having a cage...but they let me out before it got too hot so I was glad.

Well I hope you enjoyed my adventure.  Looking forward to telling you the next one. I went
to ParaCon!

Lizzie Goes to the Cemetery

Hi!  I'm glad you chose to come back and read about my adventures again.  I love sharing information with people, but mostly enjoy making them smile!

So I wanted to tell you about my adventure to a cemetery.  Do you know the difference between a cemetery and a graveyard?  I didn't until I heard my Team talking about it.  A graveyard is usually next to a church.  Because it is the church's yard filled with graves.  Get it?  Cemeteries are stand alone places.  Although they usually have a place for people to gather to pray.

I also learned that cemeteries used to be like parks (some still are used for this), where people would come and picnic with their relatives just to be able to spend time with them again.  Isn't that awesome?  Not scary at all.  They even have these headstones called table top.  How convenient isn't it?

Anyway this was my first time and I was sooo excited, I was going to meet some new friends!

When we got there we met some nice people from a group called War Party Paranormal.  I think their Indians based on the name of their group.  I don't know, but they were really nice to me and my Team.

I wasn't allowed to go visiting the actual graves as my Team said that it was no place for a doll.  Don't you love that?  It's my nickname.  Doll.  I just feel so special when they say that!

So I sat and waited for them to look around.  They were really cool.  They took pictures of me so I would have them for my blog.  They even put some things in my lap and asked me to hold them.  They lit up when I was talking to my friends but my Team wasn't around.  That War Party Team wasn't around either.  But my other new friends like the light.  I told them it wouldn't hurt them and it didn't.

When the others came back my new friends left..I don't understand why.  I know they left because we all heard the gates creak.  So much for going quietly into the night...LOL.

On the way home I heard my Mom talking about some singer...Perry Komo or Como not sure but I wonder what he sings?  Apparently he visits this place often.  My other friend also mentioned that they had saw a black shadow and that it was seen by multiple people.  But I don't really understand it.  How can you see a black shadow when it is dark outside?  I know Mr. Moon was shining...but I don't know.  Maybe I will learn that as part of my next training?

We are going to St. Augustine.  My Mom said we are going to do a photoshoot?  Not sure why we are shooting photos...am I old enough to hold a gun?

We will talk again.  Please follow me..that way you will know every time I post a new blog!

Until Lizzie Speaks Again........................  :)

Hello, My Name Is Lizzie

Hello!  My name is Lizzie. My mom and I met at an antique store called Sunshine Antiques.  My mom said as soon as she saw me she knew she had to adopt me.  She also bought me a highchair to sit in so I am just as tall as everyone else at the table.

I am a member of the S.P.I.R.I.T. paranormal Team.  I am actually the newest Team member.  My mom doesn't let me go on all the Team outings, but when I do get to go I totally pull my own weight.

My mom often refers to me as a trigger object.  I am not sure what that means but as long as I can help I am all for it.  Although I am not too sure I am very good at sitting still and holding a flashlight on my head like they ask me to do often...but I think they are just helping me to learn to balance things on my head.  You should see their face if it turns on or falls off!!!

This blog is going to talk about my adventures with my new mom and my new family.  I hope you will enjoy them too...stay tuned for my next blog...we went to a cemetery at NIGHT!!  Who does that?  But my family sure likes to enjoy gathering with friends, and I heard them say we were invited...I even got to stay out past my bed time.....

Lizze  :)
